The short version
- You can use Queezly without an account. Your classes, students and scores are kept on your phone.
- With Pro, they are also backed up to your private account so you can use them on another phone.
- Photos of answer sheets are read on your phone. We don’t upload them.
- We never sell personal information, and students’ information is never used for advertising.
- The free plan shows ads from Google AdMob. Where the law requires it, you choose whether those ads can be personalised.
- You can delete your account at any time, in the app or on this website.
1. Who we are
Queezly is made by BareHacks Software Solutions OPC, a one-person corporation registered in the Philippines (SEC registration no. 2026080265513-13), Lot 31 Block 59 Phase 1, Citrine St., Deca Homes Esperanza, Tigatto, Buhangin, Davao City 8000, Davao del Sur, Philippines (“we”, “us”). We decide how the information in your Queezly account is used and are responsible for it under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173) and other privacy laws that apply to you, such as the EU and UK GDPR and US state privacy laws.
For the class lists, scores and other student information you enter, your school or you are responsible for that information. We store and process it only to run Queezly for you (see section 4).
2. What we collect
Information you give us
- Account details (only if you create an account): your email address and password, your name and the name students call you, and an optional school profile (school name, school ID, grade levels, subjects, country). Your password is stored in scrambled (hashed) form; we can’t read it.
- Sign in with Google or Apple (when available): the name and email address that Google or Apple shares with us. With Apple you can hide your email address.
- Messages to support: what you write to us and your email address.
Class information you enter
- Classes (grade level, section, subject, school year) and students (name, student number such as the LRN in the Philippines, class number, and optionally sex, used to sort class records).
- Quizzes, answer keys, the answers read from each sheet, and scores.
This is kept on your phone. If you have Pro, it is also copied to your account on our servers as a backup.
Camera and answer-sheet photos
Queezly uses the camera only while you scan sheets or add a student from a sheet. The photo is read on your phone, including the handwritten name and student number, using on-device text recognition (Google ML Kit). Sheet photos stay on your phone and are not uploaded to us or to Google.
Purchases
Google Play or the Apple App Store handles payment. We never see your card, GCash or other payment details. We receive the subscription status: which plan, when it started and renews, and a purchase ID.
Ads (free plan only)
Google AdMob, which shows the ads, may collect your device’s advertising ID, IP address, device and app information, and how you interact with ads. If you watch an optional ad for a reward, we record that the reward was given, so it can be applied to your account.
Crash and problem reports
If the app crashes, it sends a report to Sentry with the error, the app version and your device model and system version. Reports are set up to leave out names, student numbers, scores, email addresses and screenshots. If you use “Report a problem”, we receive your message, with numbers that look like student numbers and email addresses removed.
Plan usage
To apply the free plan’s limits we count how many quizzes you start each month and which rewards you used. This is kept on your phone and, if you have an account, on our servers.
This website
The website does not use cookies or ads. Our host, Cloudflare, keeps basic logs (such as IP address and pages requested) to deliver and protect the site, and gives us visit counts that don’t identify you. On the Delete my account page, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a person, not a bot, is sending the request. If you ask to delete your account there, we use your email address and the code we send you only for that request.
We do not collect your contacts, precise location, microphone recordings, or browsing history in other apps.
3. How we use it
- To run Queezly: read sheets, score quizzes, and show results and item analysis.
- To keep your account working and secure, including sending sign-in and password-reset codes by email.
- To back up and sync your classes if you have Pro.
- To apply the free plan’s limits and give you the Pro features you paid for.
- To show ads in the free plan.
- To find and fix crashes, and to answer your support messages.
- To meet legal obligations, such as tax records for purchases.
Where the law asks for a legal basis, we rely on: providing the service you asked for (contract); keeping Queezly secure and working (legitimate interests); your consent, for personalised ads and app tracking on iPhone; and legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your or your students’ information to train AI models.
4. Students’ information
Students don’t use Queezly. Teachers enter their students’ names and numbers and scan the sheets they shade. Because of that:
- Enter only what you need, and only with the permission your school or the law requires.
- We use students’ information only to run Queezly for you: never for advertising, never sold, never shared except with the service providers in section 5.
- If a student or parent asks about their information, please contact their teacher or school. We will help the teacher or school answer.
5. Who we share it with
We use these service providers to run Queezly. Each may use the information only to provide its service to us.

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect people’s safety or our rights, or as part of a merger or sale of our business, in which case this policy continues to apply.
In some US states, letting an ad partner use device identifiers for personalised ads counts as “sharing” or “targeted advertising”. You can opt out as described in section 6.
6. Ads and your choices
- Pro has no ads. The free plan shows a few ads, never on the scanner or on printed sheets.
- Consent: in the EEA, UK, Switzerland and US states with privacy laws, Queezly shows Google’s consent form. You can change your choice at any time in Settings › Ad privacy options.
- iPhone: Queezly asks before tracking. If you say no, ads are not personalised.
- Android: you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone’s settings (Privacy › Ads).
- Ads are limited to content suitable for general audiences, and gambling, dating, alcohol and political ads are blocked.

7. Where it is stored
Without Pro, your class information stays on your phone. Account details and Pro backups are stored with Supabase on servers in Singapore. Crash reports are stored with Sentry in the European Union (Frankfurt). Our other service providers may process information in other countries, including the United States. When information leaves your country, we rely on the safeguards the law requires, such as standard contractual clauses.
8. How long we keep it
- On your phone: until you delete it in the app or uninstall Queezly.
- Account and Pro backup: until you delete your account. If Pro ends, backup stops but your earlier backup is kept and stays readable until you delete your account.
- After you delete your account: removed from our servers straight away, and from our providers’ backup copies within 30 days.
- Crash reports: up to 90 days.
- Purchase records: as long as tax and accounting laws require.
9. Deleting your account
In the app, go to Account › Delete account. If you can’t use the app, request deletion on our Delete my account page or email us at support@queezly.app from the address on your account.
Deleting your account removes your account details and your Pro backup from our servers, and removes the backed-up classes from the phones signed in to it. Deleting your account does not cancel a Pro subscription; cancel it in Google Play or App Store subscription settings.
10. Security
Information sent between the app and our servers is encrypted. Our database only lets each teacher read and change their own records, and our providers encrypt stored data. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your information, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
11. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to see, correct, export or delete your information, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent at any time. You can do most of this in the app: edit your profile and classes, export results to Excel, and delete your account. For anything else, email support@queezly.app. We answer within 30 days, and we won’t treat you differently for using your rights.
You can also complain to a data protection authority, such as the Philippines’ National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph) or the authority where you live.
12. Children
Queezly is for teachers. It is not meant for children, and children should not create accounts. Information about students that teachers enter is handled as described in section 4. If you think a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. If a change is important, we will also tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect.
