Terms of use

1. About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and BareHacks Software Solutions OPC, a one-person corporation registered in the Philippines, Lot 31 Block 59 Phase 1, Citrine St., Deca Homes Esperanza, Tigatto, Buhangin, Davao City 8000, Davao del Sur, Philippines (“we”, “us”). They cover the Queezly apps, the answer sheets and this website (together, “Queezly”). By using Queezly you agree to these terms and to our Privacy policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Queezly.

2. Who can use Queezly

Queezly is for teachers, tutors and school staff who are at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where they live. It is not meant for children. If you use Queezly for a school, you confirm that you are allowed to do so on its behalf.

3. Your account

• You can use Queezly without an account. An account is needed for backup and to use Pro on more than one phone.
• Give accurate details, keep your password private, and tell us at support@queezly.app if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
• One account is for one person. Don’t share it.
• You can delete your account at any time in the app (Account › Delete account) or on our Delete my account page.

4. Free plan and Pro

Free plan

The free plan includes up to 3 quizzes a month, with up to 70 students per quiz. A quiz counts once its first sheet is scanned, and the count resets on the 1st of each month. The free plan shows ads, and some features can be unlocked for a quiz by choosing to watch a short ad. We may change the free plan’s limits; we will tell you in the app before a change that reduces them.

Pro subscription

• What you get: unlimited quizzes, full item analysis and Excel export without ads, backup across your phones, and no ads.
• Price: Pro Monthly and Pro Yearly are sold at the price shown in the app and in Google Play or the App Store before you buy, in your local currency: US$0.79 a month or US$4.84 a year, or ₱49 a month or ₱299 a year in the Philippines. Prices may include taxes depending on where you live.
• Payment: payment is charged to your Google Play or Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase.
• Automatic renewal: your subscription renews automatically for the same period and at the same price unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends.
• Cancelling: manage or cancel your subscription in Google Play (Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions) or in your Apple ID settings (Subscriptions). Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription.
• Refunds: Google Play and Apple handle refunds under their own policies. We don’t give refunds for part of a period, except where the law requires it.
• Price changes: if the price changes, Google Play or Apple will tell you before it applies, and ask for your consent where required. You can cancel before the new price starts.
• Restoring: use Restore purchase in the app to get Pro back on a new phone with the same store account.

When Pro ends

Your account goes back to the free plan. Backup stops, but your earlier backup is kept and stays readable, and everything on your phone stays where it is.

Pro is sold only inside the app. This website does not sell subscriptions.

5. Your content and students’ information

Your classes, student lists, answer keys and results (“your content”) belong to you. You let us store, copy and process your content only to run Queezly for you, for example to back it up with Pro. This permission ends when you delete your content or your account, apart from backup copies that are removed on schedule, as our Privacy policy explains.

You are responsible for having the right to enter your students’ information, including any permission your school or the law requires, such as the Philippine Data Privacy Act, FERPA in the United States, or the GDPR in Europe. Enter only what you need to check quizzes.

6. Answer sheets

You may download, print and photocopy Queezly answer sheets for free, for your own classes or your school. Please don’t sell them, remove the Queezly name, or pass off changed versions as your own. Sheets work with the Queezly app; printing them at the wrong size may make them unreadable.

7. Checking results

Queezly reads shaded bubbles and handwriting automatically. It can misread a sheet, for example with very light shading, erasures, a poor printout or a blurry photo. The app marks sheets it is unsure about, but you are responsible for reviewing scores before you record them or use them for grades. We are not responsible for grades or decisions made from results that were not checked.

8. Acceptable use

Don’t:

• break the law, or enter information you have no right to use;
• try to get into other people’s accounts or data, or test, overload or disrupt our servers;
• copy, change, decompile or reverse-engineer the app, except where the law allows it;
• get around the free plan’s limits, ads or Pro features by other means than buying Pro;
• use automated tools to scrape the website or the service;
• use Queezly to harass, harm or discriminate against anyone.

9. Ads

The free plan shows ads from Google AdMob. Advertisers are responsible for their own ads and products, and we don’t endorse them. Optional ads tell you their reward before you choose to watch.

10. Our rights

Queezly, including the app, the website, the answer-sheet design, the name and the logo, belongs to us and is protected by law. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, under these terms and the rules of the store you got it from. We keep all rights we don’t expressly give you. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything.

11. Other services

Queezly relies on services from other companies, such as Google, Apple, Supabase, RevenueCat, Sentry and Cloudflare. Their own terms apply to your use of them, and we are not responsible for services we don’t control.

12. Changes and availability

We keep improving Queezly and may add, change or remove features. Scanning and scoring work without internet, but backup, sign-in and purchases need a connection and may sometimes be unavailable. Keep your own exports of results you need to keep. If we change these terms in an important way, we will tell you in the app or by email before the change takes effect; continuing to use Queezly after that means you accept the new terms.

13. Ending these terms

You can stop using Queezly and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, or if the law requires it; where we can, we will tell you first and let you export your content. If we ever stop offering Queezly, we will give you reasonable notice. Sections 5, 7, 10, 14 and 15 continue to apply after these terms end.

14. Disclaimers and liability

Queezly is provided “as is” and “as available”. As far as the law allows, we don’t promise that it will always be accurate, uninterrupted or free of errors.

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost data, lost time or decisions based on unchecked results, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Pro in the 12 months before the claim, or US$10 if you paid nothing.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that can’t be limited by agreement, or our liability for fraud, gross negligence or anything else the law does not let us exclude.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, and disputes go to the courts of Davao City, Philippines. If you are a consumer living in another country, you also keep the protection of its mandatory laws and may bring a claim in your local courts. Before going to court, please contact us so we can try to solve the problem.

16. App Store and Google Play

If you got Queezly from Apple’s App Store

• These terms are between you and us, not Apple. We, not Apple, are responsible for Queezly and its content.
• Your licence is to use Queezly on Apple devices you own or control, as the App Store Usage Rules allow.
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Queezly. Contact us instead.
• If Queezly does not meet a warranty that applies by law, you may tell Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any. To the extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for Queezly.
• We, not Apple, are responsible for handling any claims about Queezly, including product liability claims, claims that it fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, and consumer protection or privacy claims.
• If someone claims that Queezly infringes their intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are responsible for investigating, defending and settling that claim.
• You confirm that you are not in a country under a US government embargo or designated as “terrorist supporting”, and that you are not on a US government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

If you got Queezly from Google Play

Your use of Google Play and purchases through it are also covered by the Google Play Terms of Service. Google is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for Queezly.
